BLAZE STEP 10

Our plan calls for 2 cabinets that run the length of the bed, these will not be very wide, but they will be long and deep.

This is on my side of the bed, we installed the bottom and the back that goes against the van, next step is to put on the front and the top. Top will be natural and will double as a long bedside table.
One of the first decisions we made was the bed. We wanted something that was always set up and you did not have to assemble before going to sleep. The other choice was direction of the bed. You can either go across the van or in line with the van. We went in line so I could stretch out and Leann would not have to crawl over me in the middle of the night.
Surprisingly we measured this correctly, the top of the bed is the same height as the bedside cabinets. It’s a miracle. This is the view looking from the kitchen to the back of the van
This is the “garage” under the bed. We installed a rubber floor to keep things from sliding all over the place and driving me crazy.
