WASHITA BATTLEFIELD

On November 27, 1868, Lt. Colonel George Armstrong Custer led the 7th US Cavalry on a surprise dawn attack on a Cheyenne village led by Chief Black Kettle. This is a depressing chronology of the battle.

The a majority of the deaths were women and children. Custer got what he deserved at Little Big Horn

Hard to believe what happened here, so peaceful now.

THANKS FOR VISITING, STEVE
