First off a little elbow grease to make sure there are not any oils on the metal panels. We want to make sure the adhesives we use for insulation and other items can do their job.KIlmat is car sound deadening mat. It comes in squares, you cut the size you want, peel off the back and stick it to a panel. The material is very dense.Put a piece of the mat on any big panel and it reduces the panel vibration and makes for a quieter ride. Without it you basically have a van full of cookie trays rattling in the back, one step closer to insanity. Ask Leann, rattles in a vehicle drive me crazy.We knocked this our pretty quick but may go back and add more since we still have more material.
