Before we get to our first step on the van we agreed on a name: BLAZE. We spent a lot of our travel time following trail blazes on day hikes and backpack trips so the name fit us well.
THE DESIGN
Working on the plan and it’s good to have an architect in the family. Thank you Julie. The first design choice we made was to have a full time comfortable bed. We did not want something to set up and tear down every day. Once that decision was made, we then decided to run it length of the van and not across the back. After that everything fell into place based on room available, talk about a tiny house!
