FRIENDSHIP HILL NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE

ESTABLISHED: NOVEMBER 10, 1978

In 1790, 19 year old Albert Gallatin emigrated to the USA from Switzerland. I was embarrassed that I never heard of Albert Gallatin before visiting his wilderness home and researching his career accomplishments.
