We camped here before and liked the hiking but the campground was just OK. We decided to give it another try and they had updated the campground with new tables, and crush stone for the camp and roads. Leann booked the same campsite using the number we had before. Apparently during the update they changed the numbers for the camp sites so we got a different one than she planned. We liked it just as much.
Cave Lake
The first 2/3 of the hike was mostly uphill so we gained elevation quickly.
I did not see any trails to the top of this in All Trails but I would like to go back and see if there is a way.
We keep getting higher, at some point we will head down.
We are finally on flat land and headed to the van.
This is the most information I have ever seen on a trail sign.
We did Steptoe Creek last time we visited and decided to do it again.
The weather was starting to look a little iffy so we headed back to camp.
