KENT TRIFECTA

For some reason I got an idea that doing a hike, bike and kayak in the same day would be fun. I decided to post to our Meetup group and 15 other people also liked the idea.. Since we were doing three events and they were all in Kent, I called it the Kent Trifecta. I am a marketing genius.

We could tell when one of our group arrived, bikes and kayaks loaded for the day.
The first leg was a 5 mile hike in Towner’s Woods
The second leg was a 17 mile bike ride through Kent. I didn’t realize that I picked the same day as the Kent Blues Festival.
Looks like we are going four different directions.
Turn around point
Lunch time, the most important segment.
The Cuyahoga River is an unusual river since it flows South and then North.
We started in Tannery Park and took out at Brust Park.
It was a lot of work dropping kayaks and shuttling cars to the take out point.
New addition to the river bank

People are already asking if we are doing this next year, Kent Quadfecta?
