One of the first trips Leann and I took after getting married was to Washington DC. We spent 5 days seeing the sites and then headed to Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson. On a whim we decided to drive back through Shenandoah National Park. We then realized we prefer mountains to museums. Leann’s family even came up with a name for how we see museums. It’s called doing a Steve & Leann, basically we can see a museum in the third of the time it takes most people. Back to the mountains. On our first visit to Shenandoah we didn’t do any hiking (hard to believe) but did go back with the girls to cover a few of the trails.
On to the next one
