Ed was interested in seeing Dry Tortugas National Park and Leann read it was a good place to see birds so off we went. We flew into Miami rented a car and drove through the keys to Key West. I loved this town, lots of interesting art shops and really good food. We were walking around town and randomly picked a restaurant for dinner. We ate outside, there was live music, great food and chickens walking all over the place. The only thing missing for a true Key West experience were the cats. I wish I could remember the name of the place. We had reservations the next morning for the four hour ferry ride to Dry Tortugas. It was going to be a long day since we had a four ride there and four hour ride back. You can camp on the island and we may have to give that a try.

Next stop was John Pennekamp for some snorkeling. Leann and I were newbies but enjoyed the trip and are starting to get the hang of it.
