We stayed at Escalante Petrified Forest State Park since it was the closest camping to hikes we wanted to do in the area. The first 2 are in Grand Staircase.
We have visited many waterfalls in our travels and this one of the nicer one’s.
We did not hike the entire trail but turned around at the arches and Cliff House.
There were so many creek crossings we ended up hiking in sandals and carrying our boots. In our lifetime of hiking together I never got a blister. I got 2 from my sandals on this hike.
I have no idea how this rocks formed but it looked like pieces of paper.
