ARROW ROCK

STATE HISTORIC SITE

MISSOURI

I was looking for a place to camp for one night that was on our route. I found Arrow Rock and we were both pleasantly surprised. It is the first historic site we visited that offered camping.

Darn it, the tavern is now a museum. The museum was closed when we visited. I bet it was a fun place back in the day.

It was a ghost town

The courthouse

Camp sites were nice and the park was very quiet.

We walked around town and then did the only “hike” in the park. Arrow Rock is not s destination but a very nice stop along the way.

HAPPY TRAILS, STEVE
