SNOW CANYON SP

We drove here from our camp at Gunlock Lake and we spent the day hitting as many trails as we could. This park has hiking, biking and equestrian trails. We did not see any horses but there were a lot of bikes. 90% of the bikes we saw were E-bikes. A friend of mine asked me what I thought of E-bikes.

I told him they are the end of civilization.

This should be a national park, I will let the pictures make my case.

Common Cocklebur, the plant’s burs attach to animal fur for seed dispersal.

lava tube

I would like to see this section after it rained, the water running down the rocks would be sweet.

This looks a little different than Ohio.

We climbed down into this lava tube. I had a handheld flashlight but wish I had my Coast headlight. It is more powerful and I can use both hands to climb. Lesson learned and I updated my daypack.

HAPPY TRAILS, STEVE
