We did not plan to visit the Teton’s, it was an unplanned side trip before our first backpacking trip in the West. Before the backpacking trip we stayed in cabins at the Lakeside Lodge for 2 nights. The lodge is on the banks of Fremont Lake with beautiful views of the Wind River range.
The cabins were nice and they had a really good restaurant. They also offered a shuttle service. We hired them to pick us up at the Salt Lake City airport and shuttle us back to the lodge. We had an extra day before the backpack trip, they said we could use the van for the day, nice. We looked at maps and all agreed on visiting the Tetons.

The Tetons are grand

This view has been on a lot of calendars

We did a hike around Jenny Lake

More of Jenny Lake, can’t tell from the pictures but plenty of people had the same idea

Young bull moose

After a day in the Teton’s, we headed back to the lodge for a nice dinner. We were all excited to start our backpacking trip the next day.
