This park was a pleasant surprise: miles of paved roads for biking and lots of habitat for bird watching.

Black-bellied Whistling Ducks

We both liked this refuge so we made a return trip. There was a lot of road construction and several of the places we wanted to visit were closed.

The refuge is 39,000 acres

Alligator vs Turtle

Leann was able to ID a Mottled Duck which is a life bird for her.
