Bluestone Sate Park was recommended for good viewing of the scenic river.
Bluestone was more at our speed vs the Gauley. It looked like a beautiful place for a kayak trip.
We tried hiking along the river but the trail was a muddy, overgrown mess.

A few years ago we had a great time renting a house boat on Lake Powell.
This is a house boat on Bluestone. The Bluestone is a pretty river, the house boat is another story.
