CATHEDRAL GORGE

We originally planned on camping here since they had more hiking than Echo Canyon. Fortunately the campground was booked solid so we stayed at Echo Canyon. I say fortunately because the camping here was terrible, the sites were wide open and stacked on top of each other. We drove the 30 minutes from Echo and spent the day hiking in Cathedral Gorge. It was the best of both worlds.

This is the ridge from the bottom before we climbed.

It looks like someone drew a line across this rock formation but it was not man made.

We hiked the Juniper Draw Loop after we completed Hawk’s Ridge.

We had a lot of fun hiking into and out of these rock formations.

This dried mud was interesting to me.
