HIGH FALLS STATE PARK

ACRES: 1,050

HIKING TRAILS: 3

We were looking for a campsite south of Atlanta. After much debate and plan changes we picked High Falls. It turned out to be a nice change of pace after driving through Atlanta. Interstate 75 is a mess before you get to the city.

The dogs were quiet at night. We visited Andersonville and Jimmy Cater national parks sites the next day so we did not have much time for hiking. Fortunately, this was a view packed trail for something this short.

Dinner overlooking the river and nice sunset, life is good.

HAPPY TRAILS, STEVE
