I still have not heard back from the General Manager at Spitzer who promised to do whatever it took to correct their error of selling our van to another customer.
I still have not heard back from FORD after I complained about their inept dealer.
Klaben FORD is much better to deal with, unfortunately they are at the mercy of FORD. Our order with Klaben was scheduled for June, then it moved to July. Leann just checked and now it is not even scheduled. We started this fiasco last August. Will we celebrate it’s first birthday before or after we get a van?
In all of this frustration I have a positive story to tell about outstanding customer service. We purchased Columbia Outdry jackets for a trip to Alaska. They kept us dry through six days of rain in the Arctic. We loved the jackets but somewhere along the way they started to let water seep through. Leann said they came with a life time warranty and decided to send them back. I laughed and said good luck. Well they just sent us a full credit, no questions asked. Amazing, they actually kept their promise and delivered when their product failed. Interesting concept. Now if they would just get into building vans.
