IT’S A MIRACLE! – WANDERING WHYTES

It only took a year but Leann’s dream vehicle finally arrived. Thank you to Klaben Ford, they were great to work with and kept us posted every step of the way. Good riddance to Spitzer Ford, not sure how they are even in business. Oh well, good times ahead.

We plan to take our time and turn this into a travelling base camp for future adventures. We ordered it with everything we thought would help the conversion: all wheel drive, high top (medium length), extra alternator (to help charge batteries),swivel seats, large gas tank and a tow package.

Seems huge until you start working on the layout, good thing we have an architect in the family. We have the seats swiveled, this will be our dinette in lousy weather.

We have a lot of work to do, kind of a daunting challenge at this point.

We started working on it this weekend and I will post our progress.

For some reason people name their camper vans so we need a good one. My first suggestion was Skittles because we always took some on hikes with the kids. We have many pictures of us sitting by the trail eating Skittles.

Funniest name so far goes to Jamie: The Van That Shall Not Be Named
